Even in this economic climate, some Credit Unions are actually reviewing their Common Bond, with a view to considering expansion or merger.

WDA have assisted Credit Unions in the past in reviewing their existing common bond, making recommendations for amendments and submitting a successful application to the Regulator on the Credit Unions behalf.

We believe that there is a real opportunity for some Credit Unions in carrying out a full Common Bond review, as a seperate engagement or part of a strategic review.  All to often it is just accepted that your Common Bond is your Common Bond, but things change over 20 - 30 years.

We produce a comprehensive tender document for the Boards consideration, which sets-out a full schedule of tasks that must be completed within the engagement. This will ensure there is absolutely no ambiguity to the scope of the engagement.

All professional fees are agreed between WDA and the Credit Union prior to the commencement of the engagement at a mutually agreeable level, so there is no hidden surprises or overruns.
